This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area of Sattelhütte - Wegscheid. The trail is an out-and-back type, meaning you will retrace your steps on the way back. The total distance of the hike is 5.684 kilometers, with an elevation gain of 181 meters.

As you start your hike from the starting point at Thannerhubel parking area, you will pass by Place des Nussbaum, a lovely information spot providing insights about the area. Further along the trail, you will reach Rothebrand Brennala, a refreshing spring where you can rest and rehydrate.

Continuing on, you will come across several points of interest including a fountain, picnic sites, and viewpoints offering stunning views of the surroundings. Be sure to enjoy a picnic at one of the designated picnic sites and take in the natural beauty around you.

About 2 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Refuge Rossberg - SCSM (Ski Club Mulhouse), an alpine hut where you can take a break and perhaps enjoy a meal or hot beverage.

Throughout the hike, it is advisable to bring an adequate supply of water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast beforehand. The trail is of moderate difficulty due to its length and elevation gain, so be prepared for a good workout.
