This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the peak of La Vanige, offering stunning views and challenging terrain along the way. The trail covers a distance of 14.918 kilometers with an elevation gain of 787 meters, making it a strenuous journey that will take approximately 5 hours and 25 minutes to complete.
Starting at the parking area, you will begin your trek towards the peak, passing by points of interest such as the Lavoir fountain, La Clavelière restaurant, and the Fontaine d'en Haut. Along the route, you will also encounter the picturesque Combe Saisse and Gifort information points, offering insights into the area's natural and historic significance.
