The trail is located in the scenic area of Litchfield State Forest. Starting at the parking lot, hikers will embark on a journey through the lush greenery of the forest, surrounded by the natural beauty of the landscape.

Along the way, you will come across a tranquil water body, located 2.65 kilometers from the start of the trail. This picturesque spot offers a peaceful setting to take a break and enjoy the serenity of the surroundings.

For convenience, there is another parking area at the beginning of the trail, making it easily accessible for hikers. Named after the Heron bird, this trail offers a chance to spot various wildlife and immerse yourself in nature.
