This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The trail spans a total of 6.917 kilometers with an elevation gain of 574 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding journey. It is estimated to take around 3 hours to complete.

As you start your hike, you will come across the Pierergut restaurant, perfect for grabbing a meal or snack before heading out on the trail. Not far from the start, there is a convenient parking area for those driving to the trailhead.

About midway through the hike, you will reach Gasthof Schönleitenblick, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the mountain scenery. Further along, you will encounter several benches for resting and taking in the views, as well as the Ranstein peak, a natural wonder worth exploring.

One of the highlights of this hike is the Aussichtsplattform viewpoint, located towards the end of the trail. Here, you can soak in panoramic vistas of the surrounding wilderness before making your way back.
