This challenging 9.3 km circular hiking route will take you through the stunning Zellerwand area. With an elevation gain of 757 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart, but the breathtaking views along the way make it all worth it.
Starting at the trailhead, you will come across the Hofalm restaurant just over 2 kilometers into the hike, where you can grab a bite to eat before continuing on. As you trek further along the trail, you will pass by various peaks such as Hammerstein, Jagerwand, Zellerhorn, and Zellerwand. These majestic peaks offer panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and are perfect spots for a rest and some photos.
Along the way, you will also find several benches like Katzen-Bankerl, Milli-Liesl, and Schoaßdromme-Bank where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery. Make sure to stay hydrated as you pass by a water source at 0.13 km into the hike.
If you need to refuel, the Gaststätte Schießstätte restaurant is located right at the beginning of the trail, offering a convenient spot to grab a meal before or after your hike.
