This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Whitley Road in West Lancashire. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 2.913 kilometers and no elevation gain, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area just 6 meters from the trail. About 1 kilometer into the hike, you will find a water feature, perfect for a quick rest and refuel. Further along the trail, at the 1.46 kilometer mark, another water source awaits you.
At the 0.68 kilometer mark, there is a water feature near the trail, followed by a bench at 0.61 kilometers into the hike, offering a great spot to take in the surroundings. As you near the end of the trail, at 0.11 kilometers, you will find the Gathurst Station Inn, a pub where you can relax and unwind after your hike.
