This extremely difficult hiking route takes you on a 14.625-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 1730 meters to the stunning destination of Punta Grand. The trail starts in a picturesque area with lush greenery and beautiful views.
Along the way, you will come across several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area for your convenience. As you continue on, you will pass by a water source approximately 3.23 kilometers from the start. Be sure to stay hydrated and refill your water bottles here.
Further along the trail, around 6.47 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Laghetto degli Orti, a beautiful small lake perfect for a rest stop or a picnic. Continuing on, at around 3.55 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Bocchetta delle oche, a scenic saddle point offering panoramic views of the surroundings.
As you approach the destination, at 7.09 kilometers from the start, you will pass by another saddle called Colle degli Orti, followed by the final peak of Punta Grand at 7.31 kilometers. Take in the breathtaking views from the top before heading back.
