This hiking route takes you through the picturesque Josef-Breher-Weg area, offering a serene and peaceful experience for nature enthusiasts. The trail is circular, covering a distance of 1.617 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it super easy for hikers of all levels.
As you start your journey, you will pass by some notable points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the S-Bahnstation Höllriegelskreuth, a convenient transport hub for visitors. Nearby, there are several parking areas available for those arriving by car, including P+R facilities.
Midway through the hike, you will come across the Jaiserbrünnerl drinking water spot and a wayside cross, adding a touch of historic charm to the surroundings. Along the way, you will also encounter various benches for resting and taking in the beautiful views of the area.
Towards the end of the trail, you will have the opportunity to admire the Berliner Mauer artwork and enjoy a viewpoint overlooking Burg Grünwald.
