This hiking route takes you to Bundeseichenplatz, a beautiful area with a variety of points of interest along the way. The trail is super easy with a distance of 1.737 kilometers and an elevation gain of 87 meters, making it perfect for hikers of all levels.
As you start your hike, you will come across a wheelchair-accessible parking area, conveniently located right at the beginning of the trail. About 570 meters into the hike, you will find a natural water source where you can refill your water bottles.
Further along the trail, at approximately 870 meters from the start, you will reach Bundeseichenplatz, a viewpoint offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the scenery.
Throughout the hike, you will also come across several benches where you can rest and enjoy the serenity of the area. There is also a historical memorial, the Gedenkstein Johann Rudolf Meyer (1739-1813), located about 120 meters from the trail.
Additionally, there is a drinking water fountain named Brunnen Bundeseiche (versickert) situated at 860 meters from the start, providing a refreshment point for hikers.
As this is an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps on the way back, allowing you to enjoy the points of interest once again from a different perspective.
