This challenging hiking route spans a total distance of 8.439 kilometers with no elevation gain. The trail starts at a parking area located 0.48 kilometers from the beginning of the route. As you begin your journey, you will come across the "Grenzen überwinden" artwork approximately 2.29 kilometers into the hike. Further along, at the 4.22-kilometer mark, you will encounter a water source.
For a brief rest, there is a shelter 0.02 kilometers away from the trail at the start. Additionally, there are informational points along the way, such as "Kanurevier Lauenburgische Seen-Trave" and "Drägerweg," providing insights into the surrounding natural and historic landmarks.
If you find yourself in need of sustenance, the Wakenitzhaus cafe is conveniently located at the start of the trail. However, do note that the Wakenitz-Camp campsite, situated at a distance of 0.0 kilometers from the trail, requires a fee for accommodation.
