Hiking : Kreither Alm

This moderate 6.61-kilometer circular hiking route will take you to the beautiful Kreither Alm area. The hike has an elevation gain of 467 meters and is expected to take about 2 hours and 41 minutes to complete.

Starting at a convenient parking area at the beginning of the trail, you will come across various points of interest along the way. Just 0.97 kilometers into the hike, you will find a drinking water point for your convenience. Further along, at 3.18 kilometers, there is another drinking water point available for hikers.

Around the midway point of the hike, at 3.19 kilometers, you will reach the Kreither Alm, a cozy alpine hut where you can take a well-deserved break and enjoy some local cuisine. This also marks the location of an information point to learn more about the area.

As you continue on the trail, you will pass by several benches, perfect for resting and taking in the surrounding nature. There are also more drinking water points available at 1.34 and 1.68 kilometers into the hike.

While most benches and the wayside cross are located off the trail, they offer great spots to pause and admire the scenery.
