This hiking route will take you to Vennspitze, a peak located in a stunning area with beautiful natural scenery. The route is an out-and-back type, spanning a total distance of 6.538 kilometers with an elevation gain of 769 meters, making it a difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.

As you start your journey, you will come across Alpengasthaus Steckholzer, a restaurant located approximately 0.14 kilometers from the trailhead. This can be a great spot to fuel up before embarking on the challenging ascent towards Vennspitze.
Parking is available at the trailhead, so make sure to arrive early to secure a spot. Bringing plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear is essential for this hike.

Along the trail, approximately 2.25 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a water source, providing a refreshing stop to rest and rehydrate. As you continue your ascent, be prepared for some steep sections and rocky terrain.

Midway through the hike, around 3.27 kilometers from the start, you will reach the impressive Vennspitze peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Take some time to soak in the breathtaking scenery before beginning your descent back towards the trailhead.

After completing the challenging hike, you can return to the parking area located approximately 0.14 kilometers from the trail.
