This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area around Wanneflue. The trail is 2.293 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 108 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. It is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps on the way back.
As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area. The journey begins with a leisurely walk before you reach Balmberg Passhöhe, where you can find information about the area. Further along the trail, you will encounter Oberbalmberg, another point of interest with informative signage.
One of the highlights of this hike is the Seilpark Balmberg, an exciting attraction where you can experience an adventurous ropes course. It is located about 0.16 kilometers from the start of the trail.
For a break or a picnic, there is a picnic site conveniently situated around 0.16 kilometers into the hike. As you continue, you will pass by benches where you can rest and enjoy the surrounding nature. The Wanneflue peak, located 1.15 kilometers into the hike, offers stunning panoramic views of the area.
