The hiking route to Raucheck is a challenging and extremely difficult 11.358 kilometers long trail with an elevation gain of 1286 meters. The duration of the hike is estimated to be around 5 hours and 50 minutes.

The trail starts at Parkplatz Unterholz, where you can park your vehicle before beginning your journey. As you ascend, you will come across Mahdegg Alpengasthof, a cozy alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy a meal. Further along the trail, you will pass by a wayside shrine and various information points providing insights about the surrounding area.

Midway through the hike, you will encounter a climbing spot known as "fun in the sun" and a panoramic view that offers stunning vistas of the surrounding landscape. As you continue, you will also come across historical sites such as wayside crosses and memorials, adding a cultural touch to your outdoor adventure.

Towards the end of the trail, you will reach the peak of Raucheck, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Kleines Fieberhorn and Großes Fieberhorn. Make sure to bring enough water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging hike.
