This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area surrounding Thunacar Knott. The 5.462-kilometer long trail offers a moderate level of difficulty, with an elevation gain of 613 meters over a duration of approximately 2 hours and 47 minutes.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Great Langdale Bunkhouse, where you can stay overnight if you plan on an extended hiking trip. As you continue on, you will come across Sticklebarn, a nearby pub where you can grab a bite to eat or a refreshing drink.

Midway through the hike, you will encounter several water bodies, including Axe Workings and various waterfalls. These natural attractions offer a serene setting for a rest stop or photo opportunity.

Towards the end of the hike, you will reach Thunacar Knott, a peak where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Take some time to soak in the beauty of the area before making your way back to the trailhead.
