This hiking route to Croz de la Luna is located in a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of approximately 15 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1109 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.

As you start your journey, you'll come across some points of interest along the way. At the very beginning, you'll find Bar Centro Fondo, a cafe where you can grab a hot beverage to energize yourself before hitting the trail. There are also several parking areas nearby if you're driving to the trailhead.

About 0.85 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach Agriturismo Volpaia, a restaurant where you can take a break and enjoy a meal with a view. Further along the trail, at around 2.42 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter Segnavia, an information point that can provide useful insights about the area.

As you continue your journey, you'll find drinking water sources at various points along the trail, including Fontanella di legno at 2.28 kilometers and another one at 5.13 kilometers. These are essential stops to stay hydrated, especially on a challenging hike like this one.

At around 7.51 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the highlight of the hike, Croz de la Luna, a peak offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. This is a perfect spot to take a break, soak in the scenery, and maybe even have a picnic at one of the nearby picnic sites.

On the way back, you can visit the Ponte attraction at 0.69 kilometers from the start, where you can capture some memorable photos. Just before finishing the hike, there is a shelter located at 174.612 meters from the trail, providing a rest stop before concluding your adventure.
