This hiking route is located in a picturesque area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The trail is a circular route that spans a distance of 15.323 kilometers and includes an elevation gain of 1206 meters, making it extremely difficult.

As you begin your hike, you will pass by Chiroulet parking area, which is conveniently located at the starting point of the trail. About 5.82 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a refreshing water source, a perfect spot to refill your water bottles. Continuing on, at the 7.36 kilometer mark, you will reach the majestic Pic de Bizourtère peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 5.85 kilometers from the start, you will find the Cabane du Lac Bleu shelter, providing a restful place to take a break and enjoy the scenery. As you make your way back, you will pass by the Col de Bareilles saddle at the 7.13 kilometer mark, offering a unique vantage point of the area.

For sustenance along the trail, you can stop by the Auberge du Chiroulet restaurant and cafe, located 0.1 and 0.08 kilometers from the start respectively. These establishments offer a chance to refuel and relax before continuing on your journey.
