This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Cabane du Lac Bleu on the D 29 road. The trail is an out-and-back type with a total distance of 11.6 kilometers and an elevation gain of 898 meters, making it a difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by Chiroulet parking area at the beginning of the route. As you continue on, around 5.8 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a water point perfect for refilling your bottles. Around the same distance, you will also find the shelter of Cabane du Lac Bleu, providing a nice resting spot for hikers.

For sustenance along the way, you can visit Auberge du Chiroulet, a restaurant located 0.1 kilometers from the trail, and a cafe with the same name situated just 0.08 kilometers away. These spots are great for grabbing a bite to eat and recharging before heading back.
