This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area surrounding Lago di Canalecchio. The trail is 11.219 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 135.0 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 2 hours and 56 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey towards Lago di Canalecchio. Along the way, you will pass by several points of interest. About 0.41 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water point for refilling your bottles. Further ahead, at 1.08 kilometers, there is another water spot.

As you continue on the trail, at 1.19 kilometers, you will come across San Benedetto, a historic ruin worth exploring. Nearby, at 1.55 kilometers, there is a beach where you can take a relaxing break. At 1.71 kilometers, you will reach Le buche del Savena a Pianoro, an attraction that offers a unique experience.

Midway through the hike, at 4.97 kilometers, you will reach Lago di Canalecchio, where you can enjoy the picturesque views of the lake. The trail also takes you past more water points at 5.5 and 5.61 kilometers.

Towards the end of the route, at 2.77 kilometers, you will encounter the ruins of San Benedetto. Finally, as you head back to the parking area, make sure to stay hydrated and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging hike.
