Welcome to the hiking route "Am Sonnenhang"! This moderate 5.04-kilometer trail offers a wonderful opportunity to explore the beauty of the area while getting some exercise.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by a wayside shrine called "Bildstock Hollergraben" at the beginning of the hike. This historic site is located approximately 0.22 kilometers from the start. As you continue along the trail, you will come across a bench where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature.

Approximately 2.52 kilometers into the hike, you will find a water source for refilling your water bottle. This is a great spot to rest and rehydrate before continuing on. Another water source is located at the 0.27-kilometer mark, providing additional opportunities to refill along the way.

For those looking for a bite to eat, "Griesbauer" restaurant is conveniently located right at the start of the trail, offering a perfect place to grab a meal before or after your hike.

As this is an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps on the way back. Make sure to check the forecast before heading out and bring plenty of water to stay hydrated. With an elevation gain of 135 meters, this hike offers a moderate challenge for hikers of all levels.
