The Maybird Gulch Trail is a challenging 12.36-kilometer out-and-back route that will take you through some breathtaking scenery in a rugged mountainous area. The trail starts at the White Pine Trailhead, where you can park your vehicle before beginning your adventure. Make sure to bring plenty of water, as this hike is extremely difficult with an elevation gain of 619 meters.
As you make your way along the trail, you will encounter several points of interest. Approximately 2.49 kilometers from the start, you'll come across a stunning viewpoint where you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Further along the trail, at around 6.05 kilometers in, you'll find a water source where you can refill your water bottles and take a break.
At about 1.67 kilometers from the start, you'll have the opportunity to veer off the trail slightly to visit Gloria Falls, a beautiful waterfall located just a short distance away. Additionally, at 6.18 kilometers into the hike, there is another water source available for you to replenish your supplies.
Just 0.05 kilometers from the start, there is an information point where you can learn more about the local flora, fauna, and geology of the area. This can be a great spot to take a breather and gather some interesting insights about the trail.
