This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area around Monte Follettoso. The trail is 8.033 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 398 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 2 hours and 51 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across several points of interest along the way. Just 0.76 kilometers from the start, you will find a water source. It is advisable to refill your water bottle here before continuing on the trail.

About 1.53 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Stretta Vallicina information point, where you can learn more about the surrounding area and its history.

At the 4.02-kilometer mark, you will reach the peak of Monte Follettoso, offering stunning panoramic views of the area. This is a great spot to take a break, enjoy the scenery, and maybe even have a snack.

On your way back, at around 0.34 kilometers from the end of the trail, you will find a restaurant named Il Castagneto. You can reward yourself with a delicious meal here after completing the challenging hike.
