This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area around Mud Lake. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a total distance of 2.295 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

You will begin your journey at the parking area near Mud Lake and head towards the trail. Along the way, you will come across several points of interest. About midway through the hike, you will find Discover Pinecrest Creek, where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery. Further along the trail, you will encounter information points labeled E, D, and C, providing you with interesting facts about the area.

As you continue hiking, you will reach a point named "Between land and water", offering a unique perspective of the surroundings. Finally, you will arrive at Mud Lake, a picturesque spot perfect for taking in the beauty of the area.
