This hiking route is an extremely difficult 18.518-kilometer out-and-back trail that features an elevation gain of 1185 meters. The total duration for this hike is estimated to be around 7 hours and 14 minutes.

The trail starts at Guggenberg parking area, where you can find information about the route at an information point nearby. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across Arnitzalm, a restaurant located 3.89 kilometers from the start, where you can stop for a meal or a quick break.

Around 3.69 kilometers into the hike, you will find a water source that you can use to refill your water bottles. Another water source, Lackensee, is located at around 9.26 kilometers from the starting point. Make sure to stay hydrated throughout the journey as the trail is quite challenging.

Midway through the hike, at the 9-kilometer mark, you will encounter Weberstein, a peak that offers stunning views of the surrounding area. However, it is located slightly off the trail.
