This hiking route takes you through the breathtaking area of Terril du Pétria n°1 - Cité du Charbonnage. The trail is 6.669 kilometers long and has a moderate difficulty level.

Starting at the parking area nearby, you will begin your journey with easy access to the trail. Along the way, you will encounter multiple water sources for refilling your water bottles, with the closest one being at a distance of 1.89 kilometers from the start.

As you trek further, you will pass by another water source at the 3.0-kilometer mark, followed by two more at the 3.33-kilometer mark. There are also several parking areas conveniently located along the trail for those who are driving to the starting point.

For those interested in peaks, the Terril Calvaire 2 is located 2.19 kilometers from the trail, while the Terril du Pétria n°1 can be found 2.8 kilometers away.

If you find yourself in need of sustenance, there is a sandwich shop located close to the trail at the beginning.
