This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with a moderate difficulty level. The trail covers a distance of approximately 5.7 kilometers with no elevation gain. It is an out-and-back route, so you will start and end at the same point.
As you start your hike, you will come across various points of interest along the trail. About 0.06 kilometers from the start, there is a parking area with wheelchair access. Further along, you will find a restaurant called Fischerheim right on the trail, offering outdoor seating and wheelchair access. Continuing on, there is another parking area with no fee required nearby.
As you proceed along the route, you will reach a water feature about 2.85 kilometers from the start. This spot provides a scenic view and a tranquil setting for a rest stop. Another interesting point along the trail is an information board about the nature reserve "Auer Köpfle" located approximately 2.22 kilometers from the start, offering insights into the local flora and fauna.
Near the midway point of the hike, at around 1.21 kilometers from the start, you will find a bench to relax and take in the surroundings. Further along, at 1.76 kilometers from the start, there is another bench for hikers to rest. Towards the end of the trail, at 0.28 kilometers from the start, there is a restaurant called Rheinlust, providing an option for a meal or refreshments after your hike.
