This hiking route takes you through the stunning landscape surrounding Cogulló de Cal Torre. The trail is a circular route with a distance of approximately 13.5 kilometers and an elevation gain of 490 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you'll come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before heading out on the trail. About 2.8 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a water source where you can refill your bottles and take a break. Further along, at around 3.4 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the ruins of an old structure called "Abeurador."
At the midway point of the hike, you'll pass by Safareig, another water feature where you can rest and enjoy the surrounding nature. As you continue on, you'll come across Cal Carlos, a historical site located approximately 5.5 kilometers from the start of the trail.
Towards the end of the hike, at around 6.7 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the peak of Cogulló de Cal Torre, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the area from the viewpoint located nearby. As you make your way back, you'll pass by a dry spring called Seca at about 0.8 kilometers from the start and a saddle known as Portell de Cal Carlos at around 5.9 kilometers from the start.
It's important to note that this hike is challenging due to its length and elevation gain, so be sure to come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate hiking gear.
