This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Red Baldy peak, with a total distance of 15.931 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1559 meters. The duration for this hike is estimated to be around 7 hours and 35 minutes, so be prepared for a long and challenging journey.
Starting off the trail, you will find parking available just 0.11 kilometers away. Make sure to park your vehicle securely before embarking on this adventure. As you begin your hike, you'll come across a water source just at the start, perfect for refilling your bottles and staying hydrated.
Around 2.33 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the Mid Gad Restaurant and a picnic site, where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments before continuing on. Further along the trail at 4.36 kilometers, you'll find another restaurant for another possible pit stop.
