This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area around Navy Pier in Chicago. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 3.091 kilometers and no elevation gain, making it an easy hike suitable for all levels of hikers.
As you start your hike, you'll pass by several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find parking facilities and the Peoples Energy Welcome Pavilion. Further along the trail, you'll come across Ohio Street Beach and the Navy Pier Dock.
Midway through the hike, you'll encounter attractions such as the Navy Pier's famous Carousel and the Pepsi Wave Swinger. If you're feeling hungry, there are plenty of dining options along the trail, including Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, Harry Caray's Tavern, and McDonald's.
Towards the end of the hike, you'll reach the North Overlook viewpoint, where you can enjoy stunning views of the area.
