Welcome to the hiking route in the Aiterbach area. This trail is a super easy out-and-back route with a total distance of 1.909 kilometers and no elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

Starting at the Seglerhafen Schafwaschen parking area, you will find yourself in a beautiful natural setting. As you begin your hike, you will pass by several water sources along the trail, such as the water features located 30 to 60 meters from the start. These spots provide a peaceful atmosphere and a chance to take in the sounds of nature.

As you continue on the trail, at about 0.95 kilometers from the start, you will come across an information point where you can learn more about the Alpenvorland and the southern tributaries of the Danube. This is a great opportunity to take a break, hydrate, and educate yourself on the surroundings.

Throughout the hike, you will also encounter various benches and rest areas, strategically placed for hikers to take a moment to rest and enjoy the views. Some benches can be found at the beginning of the trail, while others are located about 0.2 to 0.3 kilometers into the hike.

A wayside cross stands at about 90 meters from the start, adding a touch of historic charm to the route. Be sure to appreciate this cultural landmark as you pass by.

Before setting off on this hike, remember to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast. Although this trail is short and easy, it's always important to be prepared when venturing into nature.
