The trail begins at Platres Forest, where you can check the Fire Danger Rating and grab a Forest Map before setting off. As you hike through the stunning Cyprus landscape, you'll come across the Cyprus Cycling Routes and the Kaledonian Nature Trail, perfect for a biking or walking break.

About 0.06 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach Psilo Dendro Trout Farm and Restaurant, a great spot for a meal or a quick rest. Further along the trail at 0.76 kilometers, you can enjoy a scenic overlook at the Kaledonian Waterfall.

Along the way, you'll find benches for taking breaks and enjoying the views. Be sure to stay hydrated by bringing plenty of water, especially since there's a spring located 0.05 kilometers from the trail.

As you reach the midway point of the hike, you'll encounter the Pouziaris trail information point and more benches to relax. Keep an eye out for picturesque viewpoints at 3.32, 3.36, and 3.65 kilometers from the start, offering stunning panoramas of the surrounding area.
