This extremely difficult 15.061-kilometer out-and-back hiking route takes you through a beautiful area surrounding Bečkovský vodopád. The trail features a total elevation gain of 407 meters and is estimated to take around 4 hours and 30 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to carry an ample water supply and check the weather forecast before heading out. Around 0.56 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter a water feature, providing a refreshing stop along the way.
Midway through your hike, at approximately 6.55 kilometers in, another water source will be available for you to refill your supplies. Additionally, you'll find Bečkovský vodopád, a stunning waterfall, at around 7.53 kilometers into the trail.
Throughout the route, you will also come across various points of interest such as informational spots like Odbočka do Bečkova and Petříkovice, providing insights into the surrounding area. Additionally, viewpoints like Krausova vyhlídka offer breathtaking vistas of the landscape.
As the trail continues, you may encounter shelters for resting and replenishing energy. Be sure to make a stop at Studánka pod Jánským vrchem, a natural spring around 1.9 kilometers from the starting point.
Further along the trail, at around 2.84 kilometers in, you'll reach the peak of Jański Wierch / Jánský vrch, offering panoramic views of the surroundings. Keep an eye out for interesting natural formations like rock formations and caves, such as Medvědí doupě, which is around 2.76 kilometers into the hike.
At the end of the route, you'll find yourself back at the starting point, having completed a challenging yet rewarding hike through the picturesque landscape surrounding Bečkovský vodopád. Don't forget to pack your camera to capture the stunning views along the way.
