This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area around Rudnik-Sattel. The trail is 8.489 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 650 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 35 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will pass by Kabrio, a restaurant located right at the beginning of the trail. After about 1.06 kilometers, you will come across a natural water source where you can refill your water bottles. Continuing on, at the 3.01 kilometer mark, you will find another water source slightly off the trail.

Along the way, you will also encounter several points of interest such as the Blinder See, a scenic viewpoint at 1.53 kilometers from the start, and the Sella di Aip/Rudnigsattel, a natural saddle located at the 4.24 kilometer mark. At 2.31 kilometers from the start, you will find the Monte Madrizze/Madritschen peak, offering a stunning panoramic view.

Throughout the hike, there are various parking areas available for your convenience, such as Parkplatz Madritschenbahn (P5) and Parkplatz Hotel Berghof (P4). Make sure to check the parking fees and regulations before leaving your vehicle.

As you reach the halfway point, consider taking a break at one of the nearby restaurants like Berghof or Edlweiss. Remember to pack enough water and snacks for the trek, as well as checking the weather forecast before heading out.

The trail is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps on the way back. Take your time to enjoy the breathtaking views and peaceful surroundings offered by the Rudnik-Sattel area.
