This hiking route is set in a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 11.818 kilometers and an elevation gain of 879 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 4 hours and 55 minutes to complete.

As you begin your journey, you will come across the parking area at La Joux, where you can leave your vehicle before starting the hike. Continuing on, you will encounter the first waterfall, Prima Cascata del Rutor, which is located 0.84 kilometers from the start of the trail. The trail then leads you to the Seconda Cascata del Rutor, followed by the Terza Cascata del Rutor, providing picturesque views along the way.

Around the midway point of the hike, at a distance of 3.79 kilometers from the start, you will find the Lacs du Glacier, a tranquil spot to rest and take in the natural beauty of the surroundings. Additionally, at 2.76 kilometers from the start, you will pass by the Seconda Cascata del Rutor.

Towards the end of the hike, approximately 5.79 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Rifugio Deffeyes (C.A.I.), an alpine hut where you can take a break, enjoy a meal, and replenish your energy before completing the remainder of the hike. For those interested in climbing, there is a climbing area located nearby, 5.79 kilometers from the start.
