Welcome to the Sloterweg hiking route in Amsterdam!

This super easy circular route takes you through a scenic area with a total distance of 1.145 kilometers and no elevation gain. It is perfect for beginners or those looking for a leisurely walk in nature.

Along the trail, you will come across several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Vlindermolen (Butterfly Windmill), an artwork located just 0.17 kilometers from the start. As you continue, you will pass by various water features, some of which are closer to the start while others are further away.

For your convenience, there are parking areas nearby, with one located right at the start of the trail and another further away. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as there are limited facilities along the route.
