This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area of Saukopf. The trail is considered super easy with a distance of 1.561 kilometers and an elevation gain of 82 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before heading onto the trail. This parking spot is conveniently located at the beginning of the hike. Further along the trail, about 0.69 kilometers from the start, you will find a spring where you can replenish your water supply.

At the 0.47 kilometer mark, you will reach Roth-Hütte, a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy some snacks. Continuing on, you will also encounter the Schauinsland shelter, located at the same distance as the spring.

As you hike towards the Saukopf peak, you will pass by the Saukopf information point and a bench where you can rest and take in the scenic views. The peak itself is located 0.69 kilometers from the start, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.

On your way back, you will pass by another information point named Hirschkopf and a bench before reaching the parking area again. It is advisable to bring an adequate amount of water, wear comfortable hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this picturesque hike in Saukopf.
