This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Muniziaga, offering a moderate level of difficulty with a distance of 6.16 kilometers and an elevation gain of 177 meters. It is a circular route, starting and ending at the same point.

As you begin your hike, you will come across a parking area, perfect for leaving your vehicle before starting the adventure. About 2.56 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter the ruins of the historic "Oficinas mineras de El Sauco", adding a touch of history to your journey.

Continuing on, at around 1.37 kilometers from the start, you will find the natural peak known as "Peña Pastores", although it is not directly on the trail. Make sure to stop by the drinking water source, "Fuente de Peña Pastores/Iturrita", approximately 1.83 kilometers into the hike to stay hydrated.

As you reach a distance of 2.8 kilometers from the start, you will come across the saddle known as "Alto del Saúco", offering a stunning viewpoint of the surrounding area. Further along, at 3.07 kilometers, you will reach the peak of "Muniziaga", providing panoramic views of the landscape.

Make sure to take a break at the saddle of "Urallaga" around 2.81 kilometers from the start before continuing on your journey. Approximately 2.47 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter the entrance to the natural cave, "Cueva del Sauco", adding a sense of adventure to your exploration.
