Welcome to the hiking route to El Cuadro / Alta Galdames! This trail is located in a beautiful area with stunning views and rich history.

As you start your hike, you will pass by a parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before heading out on the trail. Be sure to bring plenty of water and check the forecast before you begin your journey.

About 2.08 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the peak of El Cuadro / Alta Galdames. From this point, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Continuing on, at around 1.8 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the Dolmen de Eskatxabel, an archaeological site that offers a glimpse into the area's ancient history.

After a total distance of 1.84 kilometers, you will reach the saddle of Eskatxabel, where you can take a rest and soak in the peaceful surroundings.

At the beginning of the trail, and also midway through your hike, there is a drinking water station where you can refill your bottles and stay hydrated.

Overall, this out-and-back route covers a distance of 4.168 kilometers with an elevation gain of 221 meters. It is rated as an easy hike, suitable for hikers of all levels. Enjoy the journey to El Cuadro / Alta Galdames and immerse yourself in the natural beauty and history of the area!
