This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 10.67 kilometers and an elevation gain of 566 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is 3 hours and 53 minutes, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

Starting at the parking area at the trailhead, you will make your way towards the Cabanes de La Gaubie ruins, located just 0.4 kilometers from the start. These historic ruins are a great spot to explore and learn about the area's past.

As you continue along the trail, you will come across the Toue de La Pègue shelter at the 3.83 kilometer mark. This is a good place to take a break and refuel before continuing on your journey.

At the 5.34 kilometer mark, you will reach the Cabane d´Aygues Cluses wilderness hut, where you can rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. This hut provides a great opportunity to take in the scenery and recharge before heading back.

Further along the trail, at the same distance point, you will also find a water source, perfect for filling up your water bottles and staying hydrated.

Towards the end of your hike, you will reach the Refuge d'Aygues-Cluses (en construction), an alpine hut currently under construction. This destination marks the turnaround point for your out-and-back journey.
