This hiking route takes you through the stunning Pyrenees mountains, offering breathtaking views and a challenging trek. The trail spans a distance of 10.67 kilometers with an elevation gain of 566 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding adventure.

Starting at the parking lot near Cabanes de La Gaubie, you will make your way towards the trailhead. Along the way, you will come across the ruins of Cabanes de La Gaubie, adding a touch of history to your journey. As you continue, you will pass by the Toue de La Pègue shelter, providing a resting spot for hikers.

Midway through the hike, you will reach the Cabane d´Aygues Cluses wilderness hut, where you can take a break and enjoy the serene surroundings. Be sure to check out the water source nearby for a refreshing stop.

Towards the end of the trail, you will find the Refuge d'Aygues-Cluses (en construction), a new alpine hut currently under development. This marks the turnaround point of the out-and-back route, offering a comfortable spot to rest before heading back.
