Welcome to the Penney Road - Melrose hiking route. This super easy out-and-back trail spans 1.289 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it perfect for hikers of all skill levels.

Starting off at the trailhead, you'll pass by First Pond, located right at the beginning of the hike. Although not directly on the trail, this serene water body is a great spot to take in the tranquil scenery. As you continue, you'll come across Second Pond, about 0.11 kilometers from the start.
