Welcome to Fish Creek Park in Calgary, a beautiful area for a relaxing hike. This route is super easy, making it perfect for hikers of all levels.
You will start your journey at the Glennfield main lot parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. As you begin, you'll pass by the Glennfield West parking lot, which is just a short distance from the start. Further along the trail, you'll come across the Picnic Area C shelter, a great spot to take a break and enjoy a snack.
About halfway through the hike, you'll reach the Greengate Garden Centre parking area, where you can find some additional parking options. Keep an eye out for the water point located closer to the end of the trail, perfect for refilling your water bottle.
Throughout the hike, you'll also come across benches where you can sit and rest if needed. Additionally, there is an information point with a map and an Emergency Locator (FC-026) to ensure you stay on the right path.
As you near the end of the route, you'll reach Bridge 8 in Fish Creek Park, offering a picturesque view and a great spot to turn around and head back.
