Located in the stunning Les Bauges Natural Regional Park, this moderate 6.37-kilometer out-and-back hiking route offers a great opportunity to explore the beauty of the French Alps. With an elevation gain of 468 meters, hikers can expect a decent challenge while being rewarded with breathtaking views along the way.

Starting at Parking Montagny, hikers will trek through lush alpine meadows and past informative points such as Pâturage de Lachat and Les Combettes. About 2.33 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across Les Combettes, where you can take a moment to soak in the surroundings.

Further along the trail, at around 3.19 kilometers, you'll find the Refuge du Creux de Lachat, an alpine hut where you can take a break, refuel, and enjoy the mountainous scenery. Be sure to check out the refuge's website for more information before visiting.
