This hiking route will take you to the stunning Cima di Corborant / Corborant in the beautiful area surrounding the Lago Lausfer. The trail spans a distance of 15.097 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1313 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that is estimated to take around 6 hours and 46 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. About 5.47 kilometers from the start, you will find the picturesque Lago Lausfer inferiore, a tranquil lake that offers a peaceful spot to rest and take in the surrounding beauty. Continuing on, at around 6.11 kilometers, you will reach the Lago Lausfer superiore, another breathtaking lake that is located right by the trail, providing a perfect place to enjoy the scenery.
Throughout the hike, you will encounter several water points that are situated at various distances from the trail, offering opportunities to refill your water bottles and stay hydrated. Additionally, there are information points and alpine huts available along the route, such as Dahu de Sabarnui, where you can gather more insights about the area and potentially take a break.
As you push further along the trail, you will reach the Pas du Corborant / Passo Corborant at around 7.54 kilometers, a scenic saddle that marks a significant point in the hike. The trail will lead you to the Forcella Est del Corborant, another notable saddle located at 7.34 kilometers, offering spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.
Finally, as you approach the end of the route at approximately 7.55 kilometers, you will reach the Cima di Corborant / Corborant, a magnificent peak that rewards hikers with stunning panoramic views of the area. This marks the turnaround point of the out-and-back route, signaling the completion of your challenging yet rewarding adventure.
