This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Gorščica. The trail is 12.603 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 381 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 52 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest including the alpine hut named Gorščica, which is a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

Further along the trail, you will find the wayside shrine called "kapelica Uzvišenja Svetog Križa" as well as a spring and a viewpoint where you can rest and take in the beautiful views. There are also several shelters along the way such as Križna Jelva, where you can seek refuge if needed.

Additionally, there are other amenities on the trail including a restaurant called PD Gorščica, which is open on weekends from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. It is advisable to bring plenty of water and snacks with you as well as checking the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging hike.
