This extremely difficult 16.974-kilometer circular hike to Schaufelspitze will take you approximately 7 hours and 49 minutes to complete. The trail starts at Parkplatz Dresdner Hütte/Wilde Gruabe and offers breathtaking alpine views along the way.

At the beginning of the hike, you will pass by Eisgrat Panoramarestaurant, where you can grab a meal or enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. As you continue, you will come across Dresdner Hütte, a cozy alpine hut where you can rest and refuel. Further along the trail, you will find Fernaustadl and Jochdohle, where you can stop for a drink or a meal.

Midway through the hike, you will encounter Zollhütte, a wilderness hut where you can take a break and appreciate the serene surroundings. As you near the end of the trail, you will pass by Top of Tyrol, a viewpoint that offers stunning panoramic views of the area.

Throughout the hike, you will also come across various facilities such as benches, information points, and restaurants where you can take a break or gather more information about the area.

Hiking this route requires a good level of fitness due to its length and elevation gain of 1556 meters. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and weather-appropriate clothing. It is also advisable to check the weather forecast before heading out on this challenging trek.
