This extremely difficult 19.495 km hiking route will take you through the stunning area of Karwendel, offering breathtaking views and challenging terrain.

You will start your journey at the P7 Karwendelau parking area. As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by the Grasbergsattel saddle at around the 4 km mark, offering a picturesque spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

Continuing onward, you will reach the Heimjoch peak at approximately the 8 km mark, providing an excellent vantage point to admire the natural beauty of the area. Further along the trail, at around the 9.75 km mark, you will encounter the Kuppel peak, which stands tall and offers a rewarding view for your efforts.

Along the route, you will also find informative signs and drinking water stations to help you stay hydrated and informed. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging hike.

This out-and-back trail will challenge even experienced hikers with its 1267.0 meters of elevation gain. Be prepared for a long day on the trails, as the estimated duration for this hike is around 7 hours and 40 minutes.
