This extremely difficult circular hiking route will take you through the stunning area surrounding Punta San Matteo. With a total distance of 18.206 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1767.0 meters, this challenging hike is not for the faint of heart.
As you start your journey, you'll come across the Rifugio Ghiacciao dei Forni alpine hut, offering a cozy resting spot just 0.04 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Make sure to check out the nearby Punta San Matteo peak, located 8.51 kilometers into the hike. Further along the trail, you'll encounter the Pizzo Tresero peak at 6.11 kilometers and Cima Pedranzini peak at 6.51 kilometers.
