This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to the beautiful area surrounding Rifugio Pizzini-Frattola in the Italian Alps. The total distance of the hike is approximately 9.075 kilometers with an elevation gain of 515 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by a parking area just 4.25 meters away from the trail. As you embark on your journey, you'll come across valuable information points along the way, such as Rifugio Ghiacciao dei Forni, a cozy alpine hut only 0.06 kilometers from the start. Moving forward, you'll encounter another alpine hut, Rifugio Pizzini-Frattola, which is located at the 4.54-kilometer mark. This hut is open from March to September and serves as a great resting spot for hikers.

Throughout the hike, you'll also find various informational points and facilities to enhance your experience. Be sure to check out the drinking water stations located at the 4.54-kilometer mark and the benches for resting at the 2.92-kilometer mark.
