Hiking : Pont de la Cerise

This challenging hiking route will take you on a 10.9-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 405 meters in the beautiful area of Pont de la Cerise. Make sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast before you start.

As you begin your hike, you will pass by the parking area at the trailhead. Further along the trail, about 3.24 kilometers from the start, you will come across the historic wayside shrine of Notre-Dame du Breck. This is a great spot to take a break and soak in the surroundings.

Around the midway point of the hike, at 5.46 kilometers from the start, you will reach a viewpoint where you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the area. Don't forget to take some pictures to capture the moment.

Along the way, you will also come across several information points where you can learn more about the area and its history. These points are located at various distances from the start, providing interesting insights into the surroundings.

As this is an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps on the way back to the starting point. The entire hike is expected to take around 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete, so be prepared for a challenging but rewarding experience. Enjoy your hike at Pont de la Cerise!
