Welcome to the hiking route in Landl, where you will embark on a 10.382-kilometer circular journey with an elevation gain of 344 meters. This route is considered difficult due to its length and elevation, so make sure to be prepared with proper hiking gear and enough water.
As you begin your hike, you will come across the Parkplatz Kraushöhle, located right at the start of the trail. This is a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before starting your adventure.
As you continue on, midway through the hike, you will reach the Kraushöhle cave entrance (opening hours: Jun-Sep: We-Su 09:00-16:00), which is a fee-based attraction with stunning rock formations to explore.
Along the way, you will encounter multiple water sources where you can rest and refill your water bottles. Be sure to stop by the Schwefelquelle spring for a refreshing break.
For a cultural experience, you can visit the Steinkugelmühle and various historic sites like memorials and wayside crosses scattered throughout the trail.
